Zulfiqar Rahman is one of the rare lawyers who embody the traits capable of transforming any legal practice. Mr Rahman holds a double Bachelor’s degree in history and law; graduating with a 2:1
in LL.B. He completed his Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School, London in 2016 and was subsequently called to the bar by Lincolns Inn in 2009. He later completed his Legal Practice Course from London Metropolitan University in 2018 and was subsequently admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2020. During the course of academic and vocational stages of his qualifications, Mr Rahman worked for Z2K Charity as an advocate and regularly appeared before the Social Security Tribunal. He was also the Student Director of the Immigration Tribunal Friends, a Pro-bono project of BPP Law School.

Mr Rahman has extensive knowledge and experience of processing all applications
under the points-based system as well as applications for asylum, legacy, long
residency, spouse visas, appeals, reconsiderations and judicial review applications. He is accredited Senior Case worker for Immigration and Asylum. He has regularly been
appearing for appeals at the first and upper tribunal and assisted counsel in leading
cases. He has closely worked with renowned immigration barristers including Mr
Manjit Gill QC, Late Mr Stephen Knafler QC, Mr Patrcik Lewis, Mr Peter Jorro, Mr Michael Biggs, Ms Zoe McCallum. Mr Rahman has experience in conducting litigation in the most senior court of the land.

Mr Rahman’s professional standing is further enhanced by his recent Higher Rights
Accreditation, which enables him to advocate in the senior courts throughout England
and Wales. Mr Rahman’s competence standards can be ascertained by his high levels of
experience and certifications alike, which allow him to exercise advanced rights in the
higher courts.

In addition to the immigration, Mr Rahman also practises family law (Divorce and Child Arrangements), Civil Litigation and Housing. He has appeared before the Central
London Family Court and the County Court.
