Nara Islam is a current Trainee Solicitor at Polaris Law Solicitors. Nara has successfully completed her Bachelors LLB Degree from Aston University with a 2.1, and is now continuing Post-Graduate education at the leading course providing institute, University of Law to complete her Legal Practice Course and Master’s in Law and Business.


Nara’s main legal interests stem in the scopes of Immigration law, Family law and Civil Litigation. During Nara’s extensive legal career, she has very successfully assisted on a range of bail applications, unlawful detention, spousal visa applications, alongside working on Indefinite leave to Remain and further Leave to Remain Applications. A high success rate with applications is reflected in Nara’s work due to her very observant and meticulous nature.


On a daily basis, Nara manages caseload on a variety of immigration law matters that includes challenging the Home Office through appeals and Judicial Review to get the best possible outcome for her client, as well as conducting updated legal research on complex matters and statute law.


At all intervals, Nara ensures that she is thorough with the case that she is working with, as this allows her to be updated with attention to all the details and personalised case facts. As of the moment, Nara is additionally working towards a Level 1 Accreditation in Immigration and Asylum.


Languages spoken: Fluent English and Bengali, Basic Hindi and Urdu.
